PILATES
Power Pilates is a total body workout. With a focus on the core, Power Pilates brings the principles of Classical Pilates to strengthen with mailfloor based exercises using bands, sliders, weights, balls and blocks. Pilates will help with improved posture, flexibility, concentration, physical coordination and balance, just to name a few benefits. Small bursts of cardio are add in. Not recommended during pregnancy.
Reformer Pilates with a maximum of 8 students each class provides hands-on, personalised instruction. With a focus on core strength, flexibility and mindfulness, we have designed a dynamic strength program to achieve a full body workout. Using state-of-the-art Allegro 2 Reformer by Balanced Body you get all the benefits of traditional pilates packed into an intense, fun, and effective 60 minute workout. No prior experience required.
Strength Reformer this class will focus on heavier spring choices and weights to increase muscle and strength.
Heated Mat Pilates for those who like to sweat. We turn up the heat where you move your body in a warm energised space. Minimal cardio and a focus on the breath. Not recommended during pregnancy.
YOGA
Combining physical, mental and spiritual elements, Yoga will transform mind and body. A regular Yoga practice will build strength, increase flexibility and help to instil a calm and collected mindset. Read on to see the different styles of Yoga we have for you at The Habitat Space.
Yoga Flow classes are dynamic classes that synchronise movement and breath in a continuous flow of poses, usually beginning with sun salutations. They are energetic, creative and lots of fun. Yoga Flow classes are suitable for all levels with variations and modifications offered to support beginner students.
Slow Flow classes are light and creative, but slower paced than our vinyasa classes. Postures are generally held for longer periods and the transitions between poses are a little slower. This class is great for beginners, or for those wanting to slow down and sink deep into their practice.
Yin Yoga classes are a slow-paced, calming style of yoga. Yin yoga targets the connective tissue (ligaments, tendons and fascia) to improve the feeling of space and freedom in your body in order to do this we hold poses for up to 5 minutes using the support of props. These classes are suitable for all levels of students.
BARRE & DANCE CARDIO
Barre is a full body workout performed to music that combines elements of Mat Pilates and Ballet. Using a ballet barre for support, participants perform controlled exercises focusing on the core, legs, and arms. Incorporating isometric holds and high-repetition, these movements help to strengthen, improve posture, increase muscular endurance, and enhance overall body alignment. Beyond physical benefits, barre workouts can also promote mental focus and stress relief, making it a popular choice for those seeking a fun fitness class. No dance experience is necessary.
Dance Cardio is your feel-good, let-your-hair-down kind of workout where movement meets music and it actually feels like fun, not exercise. Easy-to-follow routines, great playlists, and zero pressure to “get it right.” It’s all about moving your body, lifting your energy, and getting a little lost in the music. You’ll build cardio fitness, coordination, and confidence without even realising it, leaving feeling lighter, happier, and a whole lot more energised. All levels welcome.
FITNESS
Fitness Strength using various equipment like dumbbells, kettlebells and body weight, this class is designed to safely and effectively build strength, and muscle to assist in your daily life. You will leave with better posture and increased energy.
Strength Circuit using equipment such as kettle bells, fit balls, bosu balls, hand weights and skipping ropes, you will move through a series of timed stations.
Box Fit incorporating boxing fitness exercises, in this class you will shadow box to music. There is no physical contact between participants and boxing gloves are not required
